Twitter Random Poem for November 11th

Misc Poems, twitter poems
11 Nov 2008

Today’s twitter poem came out to be one of my personal favorites, I love writing poetry that mixes romance, savagery and woman together into an art.  Let me know what you think of this one crafted from seven random words provided to me today on Twitter.  (Random words provided are listed in blue)

The Savage Woman

A vicious beauty hardened by the sins of nature
armed with her wits and adamantine dagger
feral instincts drive her to survive
against the world which would break her

Barely any clothing to cover her firm body
No sox covering her bare dirty feet
most would lust for her yet fear to
for she could slay as easily as she would love

Her heart stone solid and her mind resolved
Would you try to soften it to guacamole
Would you risk incuring her wrath
To calm her savage spirit

Would you taste her skin
as dark and browned as a pumpernickel loaf
Would you become a thane
and attempt to rule her heart

You would need to be passive
to withstand her savagery
for there are no other definitions
to describe her wild nature

Twitter Random Poem for November 6th

Misc Poems, twitter poems
06 Nov 2008

Had some tough words today from my tweeple on twitter, but managed to craft a poem and dedicate it to all you hard working mom’s out there. Raising children is the hardest and most rewarding job of all, give your self some love. Here is my random poem today crafted from random twitter words: (All of the Twitter words provided are highlighted in blue)

A Woman, A Mother, A Lover

A woman so educated in the ways of my heart
to be next to her is to feel enebriated
the rush of blood goes to my head

A mother who can puree a childs fear into applesauce
and make the world seem good again
children nourished by her warmth

A lover who can take forlorn feelings
and spin them into an infundibuliform cloud
then blow it away with a sweet embrace

A woman who some would think doesn’t do much
being a housewife who doesn’t work for real
yet has a job that few can do

A mother who is responsible for some lives
nothing can be more rewarding and difficult
a job that has more tenticles than a squid

A lover who can take my breath away
at the end of the night when all is quiet
and we steal a moment alone from the world

Twitter Random Poem for November 4th

twitter poems
04 Nov 2008

I periodically ask people on twitter who follow me to randomly submit me a word and I will craft a unique poem involving the words I am given.  Today I received 6 words that all flowed together for me to find a common theme.  Here are my results:  (All of the Twitter words provided are highlighted in blue)

Death Rides In From The Vast Ocean

The poison tide rolls in
acidic fog steals your breath
this is but one sign
of the harbinger known as death

Your fellow man will bootleg your soul
to save his own from this awful fate
So death comes forward in a tidal wave
riding on the back of skeletal hippopotamuses

His scythe in hand your vision grows dark
people scatter before him like ants
you try to run but your knees are wobbly
instead falling to the ground begging for your life

You scream for your life but no words come out
all you taste before the end of the road
is the acrid salty seaweed sliding down your throat
the tide sweeps over you and all is lost
