03 Dec 2009
Sonic Mishap is about a sound engineer testing some new headphones only to have something go horribly wrong, inspired primarily by the words headphones and analyze. This poem included the 12 random words (in blue) provided by the following twitter players:
@KathrynVercillo (putrid), @rmilana (Butterfly), @blusol (demonstrate), @purple_froggy (overdrawn), @shonie1966 (analyze), @filigreegirl (logic), @TrinaMb (Charlie Brown), @Zorlone (drunk), @babyfuzz (dodge), @Jemfyr (radiant), @or1gb1u3 (headphones)
@LangleyCornwell (Cataclysmic)Sonic Mishap
You were supposed to only analyze
demonstrate these new headphones work
an overdrawn putrid feedback mishap
a cataclysmic butterfly effect
luck fit for Charlie Brown himself
as you reel back attempting to dodge
logic failing as radiant circuits pop
systems screaming as if drunk with power
a plume of smoke as all hisses in silence
how are you going to explain this mishap?-Poem by Dragon Blogger

11 Sep 2009
Today’s poem “The Lost Ones” speaks about a group, it can be a cult, religion, organization that is cast off by society and hopes to gain one day. Today’s poem was inspired by the 11 words (in blue) provided by the twitter followers below:
@manitisle (underestimate), @concisionflux (absenteeism), @SurfCityJay (event), @TrinaMb (unity), @lejonprime (glyph), @MetallmanX (dissolution), @hectica (convalesce), @lionlambluv (twirl), @JanSimpson (Hopeful), @R_Arblaster (flatulence), @manitisle (understanding)
The Lost Ones
An event devoid of unity
casting a glyph of dissolution
absenteeism blatant, few remain
gathering to convalesce and prepare
the public underestimate their numbers
casting them off unkindly and direct
like a wicked flatulence on society
but they find strength in solace
hopeful for a twirl of fate
when society regains understanding
and they will no longer be the lost ones-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Today’s poem is simply about having frustration with ones computer and was inspired by my Windows Vista and mouse trouble last night. Thanks to the 5 twitter followers who provided the 6 random words (in blue) for today’s random twitter poetry:
@filigreegirl (repose), @concisionflux (artisanry), @TrinaMb (cooperation, plum), @kathysperlbell (Microsoft), @kellymscott (fricken)Reboot Again
Fricken programming artisanry
Microsoft Windows hung again
blue screen a gentle repose
mouse offers no cooperation
plum colored pixel jargon
last known image smeared
one choice left to me
a reboot to clear-Poem by Dragon Blogger

This Wish
If I could have but one wish
would it be to end world hunger?If I could have but one wish
would it be for world peace?If I could have but one wish
would I wish for a billion dollars?If I could have but one wish
would I wish to have beauty?If I could have but one wish
would I choose it wisely?-Poem by Dragon Blogger
