WOOF Winners for August 28th

Zorlone took the top spot with a short story called “The Night Duty”, with Jenn taking 2nd place with “A Night with Jupiter” and my Vagabond Murder poem taking third.  Roy closed out the fourth slot with a poem about holding on called “This Too Will Pass”

Congrats to the other poetry contest winners, once again I think PlotDog needs to showcase the poetry and writing contest more.

Dragon Blogger gets 2nd place in WOOF Contest for June 12th

I was up against many submissions this week where the top 7 were chosen by the submitters, I was surprised that my random twitter poem “Chance Encounter” came out in 2nd place. This was a fun poem to write about falling in love with a girl. Congrats to Zorlone who took third and fifth place and to Jena Isle who took first place with her article about Poetry and Writing.

5th Place in WOOF Contest with Icy Passion Poem

This week I managed to hit the 5th spot with my poem Icy Passion which was written in response to a challenge to write a poem comparing love to ice, Zorlone answered the challenge with his poem “The Ice King’s Vow” and rightfully won first place with his amazing piece he came up with.  Congratulations to all other winners, fully how 3 of the winners all wrote for the same poetry challenge.

I was literally shocked that I won the Writers Offering Our Finest contest for May 22nd, I was up against 7 other poetry submissions and 5 prose submissions.  The poem that won happened to be written on my blackberry while on a drive to a concert, I often write poetry while on long car rides or when bored.  Congratulations to the other winners this week.
