The end of the year marked some good poems submitted to PlotDog Writers Offering Our Finest contest, with Zorlone winning 1st and 4th place, Roy taking 2nd place and my last twitter poem of the year placing 3rd.
Poetry
Zorlone – “Planet’s Saviour†– After seeing the movie Avatar, I just needed to express how I liked the story with a poem.
Roy – “Hope, growth and prosperity†– symbolism… color… vision… hope
Dragon Blogger – “A Life Ended†– A Life Ended is a poem about someone depressed and contemplating, then finally on the verge of committing suicide. This is dark poem and ironic considering it was written on New Years Eve and many people played happy words, for some reason my mind just formulated a dark poem today.
Zorlone – “Battle Court†– For someone who is passionate with badminton, this poem takes it to a whole new level.

I was pretty shocked that my Star Wars inspired poem about an alien black market won first place in this weeks WOOF contest, congrats to Jenn and RasoirJ for rounding out the top 3.
Poetry
dragon blogger – “Android Bazaar†- Poem about an alien bazaar smugglers market, inspired by Star Wars.
Jennifer M Scott – “Serendipitous Shadows†– A dark poem about life and choice.
About Writing
RasoirJ – “Third-Person Pitfalls†– Point of view is the first and perhaps most difficult choice for story-tellers. This is a look at how two fine novelists, Nicholson Baker and Margaret Drabble, handle the third-person point of view.
