The Onion
I cry clear tears if you cut me
You shall cry too in return
My lines run in circles
My rings too numerousI can be as sweet as an apple
I can be as potent as a brew
I can enhance flavor
or I can steal it from youSo bite into me
Savor my unique taste
carve me to decorate your plate
serve me as rings or bitsMy red skin can garnish
My pulp can satiate
On a hamburger I am divine
I am the onionPoem by Dragon Blogger

Damn you and your oniony poetic goodness. Just when I can’t have onions…..makes me want them even more
I shall savor the oniony flavors vicariously thru your poem!! Thank you!!
