The Package – Random Twitter Poem for July 9th

I was so busy at work today, that I had to just put this one together while on a lunch conference call, its a little disjointed, but tells a tale of a simple hotel concierge who decides to play with a strange delivery package. Poem inspired by the 14 words (in blue) submitted by the following twitter followers:
@Zorlone (kebab), @JenaIsle (passion & dimethylphenylhydrazine), @Dawnie22 (Distracted), @SurfCityJay (firm), @KathrynVercillo (melee),RemBeatZ (Yeast), @AnnEvanston (concierge), @SpaceAgeSage (transcendent), @CelebritiCat (serendipitous), @coyotesqrl (conquer), @shemah (deportment), @mnconcierge (voracity), @A_Lan (Pollution)
The Package
The concierge received a package
his distracted deportment serendipitous
with eager unbridled voracity
and a passion for curiosity
package opened intentionally
revealing a startling discoveryA firm yeast like substance
like something served on a kebab
pulsating with a strange transcendent glow
as it were something more like living snow
then as if putting on a public show
the man subjected it to a melee blowThe strange object then flashed bright green
burst into powder like dimethylphenylhydrazine
a sickly pale pollution that made quite a scene
people started shouting things obsceneTrying to keep the people calm
a manager came and shouted orders
people please conquer your panic
this has all been some cruel trick
get a mop and broom real quick
before this powder makes people sick-Poem by Dragon Blogger

I find this a light, funny poem. And the word was used aptly. Thanks.

The last few lines were the best as the plot reaches its denouement.
