Today’s twitter poem was inspired by sleepwalking and jellyfish, honestly I couldn’t tell you how or why this popped into my head it is just the way my brain works. This poem included 12 random words (in blue). Thanks to the following twitter followers for playing:

Toxic Tentacles

Frustrated, with fear gnawing at you
An impossible schism of reality
Raiders with toxic tentacles
Army of licorice colored jellyfish
With red spots brighter than cabachon rubies
Shuddering at the lurid fate, should you get stung
Swarming over you now, with only one intention
To extinguish your life force and feed upon it
You then feel a sharp pain and hear a crash
Eyes springing open you emerge from sleep, startled
Then with a husky chuckle you realize
It was just a dream, and you were sleepwalking
