Today’s random twitter poem is about someone who comes home to find they left a candle burning and almost has a catastrophic experience as a result. Thanks to the following twitter followers for playing today’s poem and submitting the 8 random words (in blue):
@numbnuggets (discalceation)
@JenaIsle (emission)
@shemah (birthday)
@santasdevil (energy)
@DavidMercury (missionary)
@jamiain (windy)
@jmbuckingham (balance)
@Fionaone (wafer)Unattended Candle
While engaged in the balance of discalceation
You notice the odor of a curious emissionAlmost like a birthday candle blown out
It smelled like smoke, without a doubtA devoted missionary to find the source
Hoping the cause doesn’t lead to remorseA fire rising from on your kitchen table
A candle burned low and became unstableFlames rising from some paper napkins
Sudden energy from rising endorphinsWetting a towel trying to wafer the flame
Panic set in, what’s happening is insaneThe fire is out, the smell almost making you choke
Opening the door, windy air rushes in to clear the smokeYou dodged a bullet and it could have been worse
The candle was a gift and could have also been a curse-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Coolness!! This is pretty different from what you normally do and I think it’s great! The words fit this poem perfectly! There’s a certain feeling of harmony of words that I just love in today’s poem! Good job!
