Today’s poem came together and what came to mind is how people tend to judge others by how they look, that combined with many words related to books and reading this theme just flowed in my head. I can’t help but picture some people maybe thinking this of Christopher Paolini the created of Eragon when writing this who is a very successful teenage author. Thanks to my followers for the 13 random words (in blue):

@Oneunder2001 (Omnibus), @blm03 (nose), @filigreegirl (lillibullero), @Sirjohn_writer (anniversary), @shemah (insignificant), @anefallarme (dollar), @SurfCityJay (notification), @coyotesqrl (alfalfa), @purplefrogcat (bonehead), @elanderguthrie (Gamer), @stnmoon (Reader), @TatianaTheDog (authenticity)
@MisterBinAZ (flexible)

Unlikely Author

With a funny looking nose
And flexible Alfalfa like hair
A kid who appears to be
Just some bonehead gamer
Now at the anniversary
Of his incredible success
Every reader knows his name
With advance notification
Of each book that is published
More copies sold than dollar bills
Some own his omnibus of books
Each copy a lillibullero to its owner
The authenticity of his work assured
So who would have thought
Who would have thought
A kid judged to be so insignificant
Would amount to be so much
Many of us learned to discover
You can’t judge a book by its cover
