Vampire Rescue – Random Twitter Poem for March 30th

I didn’t have much time, only enough time for one call for words for today’s poem, and barely anytime to write it since I have to leave work early for a ton of errands this afternoon. So I crafted a random twitter poem inspired by the movie “Twilight” which I saw last night from these 6 random words (in blue). Thanks to the following twitter followers for playing:
@Jenaisle (fluorometry), @billnega (doldrums), @jrgarralda (mischievous), @BlazingMinds (widescreen), @jlp4u3 (pinpoint), @bluecrystaldude (Holidaymakers)
Vampire Rescue
With the flare of a widescreen hollywood picture
The girl cowered in fear screaming for help
A most mischievous vampire relished in her agonyGlass shattered as the rescue came in vampiric form
A struggle so fast human eyes couldn’t follow
Fangs sunk into flesh with pinpoint accuracyThe villainous vampire realized too late the trouble he faced
Now wishing he would have been one of those Holidaymakers
He met his bitter end to claw, teeth and flameThe scent of charred flesh filled the room
While her rescuer bent down to help her
At least with him she would never suffer doldrumsShe was his life now, and he was hers
The light dimmed, barely detectable with fluorometry
The vampire whisked her away to safetyWas it all a dream?

Hi Justin,
I was excited on how you would use the word, and I am not disappointed. You have blended beautifully a scientific , uncommon word with the rest of the poem. Superbly done J. Bravo! Keep posting and all the best.
