Vegetarian Optimism is a poem about how people love their meat based products and despite the health benefits of being vegetarian little headway is being made. Note: I am not a vegetarian and ate a Beef/Ostrich Jerky while writing this poem. This poem was inspired by the following 10 words (in bold) provided by the following Twitter players:
@webbetty (Burns), @solomonobaje (Omnibus), @yearning4d_sky (justice), @giuliettaspeaks (vichyssoise), @goodyniosi (scintillating), @bestmommy (murmuration), @thatgrrl (bacon), @technicallyeasy (park), @blazingminds (Vegetarians), @stacyharp (optimism)
Listen to the poem or read below:
As scintillating bacon
fry’s in a park BBQ
providing no justice
Burner burns with intent
Despite omnibus of information
meat too enticing overall
yet vegetarian’s optimism
still remains intact
