I have now converted this fine poetry blog to a dofollow, commentluv, keywordluv and top commentators blog. You can read more about this ultimate link back package at Dragon Blogger is now DoFollow to see the benefits and why I am DoFollow enabling all of my blogs. This means everyone who leaves a comment will get some link back juice to their site, and I encourage other poets to post comments and get their pingbacks to their own poetry blogs. Hopefully this will encourage my readers and fellow poets to leave some more comments.

Great idea to convert to keyword luv you will get a lot more comments and readers of your blog
I’ve been thinking about installing these dofollow plugins out there (like KeywordLuv) but am a bit worried about its effects…. do you think it’ll hurt me in terms of SEO? I mean since you’re linking out a lot..

A fine and commendable thing to do. Personally i felt that the introduction of nofollw links devalued the entire internet and was largely a mistake. The inclusion of dofollow links to a blog is better for both the blog producer and the comment leaver, with a higher number of comments and an incentive to leave a comment. Due to this the dofollw blogs need to be monitored for spam only leading to more reliant and better blogging.
I personally feel that the introduction of nofollw links rubbished the whole linking system. Dofollow promote the link system, and can help create a more valid and relevant blog. Dofollow encourage people to comment and required moderation in turn creating a more relevant blog.
I agree, it is hard to find spam with DoFollow as spammers will now hide quality comments, but with link backs to unsavory sites.
I also use dofollow blogs for SEO.

Planning to install the dofollow and keyword luv but not the commentluv because I heard that commentluv is not very good for server resources.

Comment love is Ajax and doesn’t use your web server resources, it does all its processing on the remote commentluv servers.
comment luv doesn´t only get blogs more comments it helps to boost the traffic-rank (alexa) a lot.
you have to delete more spam than before, but it´s worth it.
Definitally a great idea, a lot of people, including myself will go out and search for blogs just like this!

I dont think it is not going to affect in SEO. If the blogger is commenting here. they know that it will get rejected if there is no useful comment given. if they give some useful comment it is going to be loved by search engines. I have seen few blogger after commenting they are actually bookmarking the site to get crawled fast. this will gain a good link for every comment. so it actually boosts the seo, if moderated properly. hope this makes sense.
