Today’s poem is a reflection about relationships that may go sour or have hurt feelings behind them, but there is healing and love that still exists and a way past it with respect and understanding. Thanks to the following people for providing the 10 random words (in blue) today:

@imjstsayin (friendship), @filigreegirl (eleemosynary), @shemah (disgruntled), @nipplelicious (reality), @kcarruthers (fathom), @Zorlone (frustration), @RemBeatZ (resurrection), @jollything (Exception), @SurfCityJay (fear), @numbnuggets (sludge)

Where Has Love Gone?

You can’t fathom the reality of the situation
Which leads to pure and simple frustration
That love is disgruntled and full of fear
What you used to love and hold so dear

What was once friendship needs a resurrection
Instead you find yourself full of introspection
A fountain of love, now a tainted well of sludge
But who is anyone else to point and judge

An exception to this fate can be found
When this realization hits it is renowned
If you can show eleemosynary respect
Imperfections and problems will correct

Nobody its perfect not me or you
The sooner you realize this is true
Take your love and unwrap the foil
Don’t let such a good thing spoil
