Worthless Finding – Random Twitter Poem for May 28th

-
The poem I created today is about an aspiring Archeologist looking for the next big discovery, and was honestly inspired by the word floccinaucinihilipilification which was one of the most unusual words I have ever been provided for this game.
Today’s random twitter poem is crafted from the 8 words (in blue) provided by the following twitter followers:@JenaIsle (tonometering), @shemah (sloth), @anefallarme (hacienda), @AnnEvanston (organic), @Zorlone (dependable), @HollyJahangiri (floccinaucinihilipilification), @imjstsayin (smooth), @jollything (Wisdom)
Worthless Finding
Digging through the organic rock
At the pace of a sloth through the jungleArmed with your dependable pickaxe
and only a few days suppliesEach strike against smooth stone, producing
tonometering tones echoing for milesThis hacienda a site for ancient bones
from wisdom based on recent findingsYou then notice some petrified bone
You begin brushing the objectUnfortunately the discovery
was floccinaucinihilipilificationAs the bone fragment turned out
to be that of a common rat-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Thanks, yep I had some tough words today.
This is amazing. The twist at the end is perfect! I’m honored you chose my word as the theme word. I knew you could do it, but did not expect the poem to turn out so well.

I like the alliteration in “tonometering tones,” as well.

Thank you, really glad you enjoyed the way it came out. Part of the fun is seeing how the players react to the way I use their words.
I agree with Holly on the alliteration. I should also add that the twist in the end with a nice internal rhyme is a nice touch.
